NEW FREEZING PROCESS.
MEAT FROM AMERICA. LONDON, Alay 1. An experimental shipload of meat, savs the Daily News, frozen by a new process, divided 'into convenient small cuts, and wrapped in transparent paper bags, arrived from America and was sold out ;il Smitliliekl. The importer says tho process used allows of the immediate cooking of the meat without unfreezing, greatly convonicncing the housewife, who also is üble to look over and choose from the packages on the butcher's counter. At present, ono drawback is that the butchers' shops are not equipped to deal with such joints, owing to tho absence of tho refrigerated counters which are installed in America.
