BRIDGE AFTERNOON.

A successful bridge party in aid of the funds of tlio Auckland Sunbeams Free Kindergarten, Virginia Avenue, was held at the residence of Mrs. N. J. Kidd, of Vincent Avenue, Remuera. Mrs. Kidd, who v;as assisted as hostess by Mrs. J. Stewart Milne, woro a frock of Burgundy red embossed georgette. The living rooms were arranged with dahlias in various shades of pink and the hall and dining room with autumn-shaded flowers and leaves.
