RENEWAL OF BANDITRY. FOREIGNERS IN DANGER. PEKING. March 21. Renewed activity by bandits is reported from the Kwangsi Province. The city of Taiping was sacked 'and foreign missionaries ill-treated. Kanchow, in Kiangsi Province, is besieged by a strong armed force of Communists and anxiety is felt for the safety of the American Mission and its 10 priests.
