LONG WIRELESS TALK.

FROM GENOA TO SYDNEY. SIGNOR MARCONI SPEAKS. SYDNEY, March 22. Signor Marconi, speaking from his yacht Elettra at Genoa, was heard clearly last night by Mr. E. T. Fisk, manager of Amalgamated Wireless, Ltd. In reply to a question, Signor Marconi said he hoped to visit Australia next autumn. Arrangements aro being made for an electrical exhibition in Sydney next week, to include an experiment by which through a complicated system, including the use of tho beam system, Signor Marconi from his yacht in the Mediterranean will switch on tho lights at the inaugural ceremony.

Tho set with which Signor Marconi talked from Genoa to Sydnoy was designed for use on transatlantic ships. It is compact, and can be installed in an ordinary cabin.
