VALUELESS CHEQUE.
PURCHASE OF MOTOR-CAR. ACCUSED PLEADS GUILTY. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] OTOROHANGA, Monday. A charge was preferred against James Bruce Will Miller, farm manager, Piopio, aged 30, before Messrs. E. Brock and R. Green, J.P.'s, of obtaining credit by giving a valueless cheque for £4lO for the purchase of a motor-car from W. B. McAdam, Limited. Accused pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court at Auckland for sentence.
