At tho annual meeting of tho Morrinstillc Croquet Club it was stated that 'fub hud had a very successful season. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of XCO 18s 7d. The officers elected were:— Patron, Mrs. G. Howie: president Mrs. Clark; vice-presidents. Mesdames Stirling and D. C. McLeod: committee, Mesdames Clark, Cooper. Stirling, Turner, McLeod, ''owern, and T. Martin; secretary. Mrs. P. J. Cooper. Tho opening day was fixed at Octob«r 16.
