POWER BOARD TRADING.

Sir, —I notice the Waitemata ElectricPower Board has been again discussing the subject of power board trading. Ihc fact of the matter is that electrical traders are not opposed to power hoard trading as long as they are on the same footing as the traders. One power board I know sells electric ranges at tho usual List prices, but gives a discount for cash and also gives away an electric kettle to every purchaser of an electric range. This is not a fair thing to electrical traders arid retailers. If power boards must go in for electrical trading, such as the sale of ranges, water heaters, etc., let it be on an equal footing with the private traders and retailers. Fair Competition.
