MALARIA MOSQUITOES.

Sir, —Once again Auckland is reminded of the possibility of malaria mosquitoes being introduced into New Zealand, this time by Mr. W. R. McGregor, of Auckland University College, who recently gave a lecturo at the university. Dr. David Graham, research officer on mosquito research, has told us again and again of this possibility. Not only that, but he lias actually caught live female anopheles (malaria carriers) on vessels in Auck land, from India, also other varieties from Australia. The point in question is what is going to be done in Auckland to get rid or this pest; Mr. Graham' lias done his "bit";-it now remains for local bodies to act, and at once Summer is coming Anti-Mala'iua.
