MOTOR-CARS COLLIDE.
ONE DRIVER IN HOSPITAL. CRITICAL INJURIES SUSTAINED. [BV TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] HASTINGS. Saturday. Motor-cars driven by Mr. Sim Land, of Havelock North, and Mr. A. F. M Symes, of I.onglands, a well-known sheep farmer, collided last night at the PukahuLonglands intersection on the main road to Palmerston North. Mr. Symes was injured, and lies is hospital m a critical condition. A dog which was on the running-board of Mr. Symes' car was killed.
Mr. Land escaped with a bad shaking and a few bruises.
