IJO.SE—STOK ER. The, marriage of Miss Eva Mokes. eldest daughter nf Mr. and Mrs. A. (i. Stokes, of Papnkurn, In Mr. J. Seymour Rose, son of Mr. and Mrs. .T. H. Rose, of Disrioli Street, Mount. Eden, was celebrated in S't. Thomas' Church, New Lynn, on Thursday evening. Tho bride, who was given away by her fatlier, worn a frock of ivory goorgetto moutiterl over white satin and trimmed with silver. Her tulle veil was arranged on tho head with a wreath of orange blossom and sho carried « bouquet of whito llowcrs with touches nf pale pink. Tho bridesmaids, Miss Mary Rlokes, Miss Margerio Rtokes and Miss Muriel Rose, wore frocks of mauve crepe do thine, with mauve and silver tulle head-dresses. They carried bouquets of mauve and pink fiowers. Mr. 0. Snow attended tho bridegroom as best 'Jnan, and Mr. Malcolm Todd and Mr. Jack Stokes were groomsmen.
