MAJOR SEGRAVE'S CAR.

CHANCE FOR LONDONERS.

TRANSPORT ON SATURDAY,

(Received April 11, 7.55 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, April 10. Major H. O. D Segrave's racing motorcar Golden Arrow, in which ho established the world's speed record of 231 miles an hour on Daytona Beach, Florida, will be seen by the London public on Saturday. It will be taken through the streets of the city from Victoria Station to Westminster.

Major Segrave and Captain Irving, the designer of the car, will there receive a welcome from the Government.

Captain Irving made more than 1000 drawings when he was designing the Golden Arrow. So successful was his work that without preliminary trial the car was taken to the United States and achieved all that was expected of it. The car was entirely of British manufacture. Even the smallest nut was cut from solid metal. No money or effort was spared to reduce Ihe hazards which necessarily attend such a record-break-ing exploit.
