Ross, accompanied by three passengers, was driving a car from Opotiki to Taneatua last night engine troublo developed on tho journey and the driver decided to return to Opotiki. When near tho top of Kutarere Hill the car ran up a bank and then turned completely over, coming to rest upsido down. Tho occupants had a remarkable escape from sevcro injuries. With difficulty all managed to crawl from under tho car, suffering from shock. Tho car had two wheels torn off. Tho passengers were brought back by other motorist*,
