LATE MR. J. M. BARR.

A largo number of friends and relatives of the Into Mr. James Muir Barr attended his funeral yesterday at Hillsborough Cemetery. The service at tho gravesido was conducted by the Rev. D. C. Herron, of St. David's Presbyterian Church, of which Mr. Barr was a member, while the Revs. George Budd and McLean, of the Devonport Church, also attended. The Auckland Savings Bank, of which Mr. Bare was manager al tlio time of liis retirement in 1925, was represented by the present manager, Mr. Clem Bartley, while tho chairman and members of the board of directors of the Auckland Co-operative Terminating Building Society, of which Mr. Barr was a director, were present. The Devonport Lodgo of the Order of Rechabites was represented, and the Reehabitc service was read. There were also a large number of Auckland business men present.
