HUNTLY TOWN CLERK.
AUCKLAND MAN CHOSEN!. Mr. C. A. Chapman, who for the past five years lias been a member of the staff of tho Dcvonort Borough Council, has becu appointed town clerk of Huntly. Thero were 33 applicants. Mr. Chapman will leave for Huntlv in about three weeks' time, replacing Mr. Eric Price, who has been appointed to tho position of town clerk at Tnihape. Prior to being employed by tho Devonport Borough Council Mr. Chapman v;'a.3 for ten years with the Auckland branch of the Bank of New Zealand.
