PRESENTATION.

Tho presentation of a silver tea and coffeo service was made to Mr. Frank R. Burnham, general secretary for New Zealand of the Southern Cross Assurance Company, Limited, at a meeting of the board of directors in Wellington. The gift was from Mr, Thomas J. Confoy, governing director of the company, who is at present in New Zealand, and was made on his behalf by Sir Joseph Wardu chairman of directors. It was given as a mark of appreciation of services rendered to the company.
