WANCANUI CLUB TOURNEY. VICTORY FOR D. C. COLLINS. [flV TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WANGANUI, Sunday. Tho Wangunui Golf Club's tournament concluded yesterday in fino weather. Both tho semi-finals in the morning were well contested. It is doubtful whether, in tho final of a Wangamii tournament, finer coif has been seen than in tho contest between D. C. Collins and I. Saunders, which went to the 17th hole, whero Saunders failed to sink a 12-foot putt for a 4. Thus Collins won the championship. 2 up and 1. The semi-finals resulted:—Saunders beat P. Grey, 4 and 2; Collins beat J. Harold, 3 and 2. In tho final of tho Belmont handicap, D. Murchie beat W. O'Callashan, 4 and 3.
