MAN WHO TOOK POISON. A charge of attempting to commit suicide was admitted by Edward James Patcrson, aged 29. in the Police Court on Saturday. Accused was found in a hoarding house in Upper Queen Street on January 13 suffering from the effects of poison, and ho was sent to the Auckland Hospital.
