ALLOWANCES REDUCED.
MINERS IN THE COMMONS. DEPRESSION IN INDUSTRY. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Dec. 28. Owing to the depression in the coalfields those members of Parliament wno are members of* the Miners' Union have agreed to a reduction of £SO from the allowance made to them by the Miners Federation. Their Parliamentary salary with the allowance is now £6OO a year.
