CAMPAIGN IN COUNTRY. TAX ON WEALTH FAVOURED. A. and N.Z. PARIS, Dec. 29. The French Socialist Party is planning an electoral campaign, and has decided to drop the capital levy in favour of a tax on acquired wealth. Presumably this will be on similar lines to the British Labour Party's scheme of a surtax.
