NORTHERN CLUB. The Northern Pigeon Club flew a race on Saturday from Tauruarunui, an air-line distance of 145 miles. Eleven birds competed. The Ponsonby Flying Club flew a race on Saturday from Ohakune; an air-line distance of 182 miles. Nine birds flew. Results:— Mr. M. Keane's roc Anglo Boy, 1289.7 yds per min., i; Mr. S. Webb's b c h Carrie Star, 1289.1yd5, 2; Mr. W. Billings' b c c Jervois Boy, 1285 yds, 3. DOMINION CLUB. The Dominion Homing Pigeon Club flew its hen bird championship from Taumarunui, an air-line distance of 145 miles. Tho winning bird was Mr. F. Milham's entry. Six birds flow. Mr. Milham also won a silver cup and wjll hold it for one year. Results:— Mr, F. Milham's g p h Medley, 1181.9 yds per min.. 1; Mr. A. Alexander's r c h Storm Queen. 1181 yds, 2; Mr. L. Cantell's b c h Miss Evelyn, 1179 yds, 3. Tho xlub will fly its lady's bracelet raco from Ohakune. THE WHANGAREI CLUB. [BY telegraph.—own correspondent.] WHANGAREI. Sunday. The Whangarei Pigeon Flying Club flew a race from Papakura under ideal flying conditions. The 20 birds were liberated at 8 a.m. and the winner was timed in at 10 84. Results were:—D. Wilson's Renown 11., 1; E. North's Black Bess, 2; G. Baker's Black Diamond, 3.
