HAURAKI PLAINS ROADS.
SCHEME FOR IMPROVEMENT. PATETONCA RIDING ROUTES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J * NGATEA, Wednesday. The Hauraki Plains County Council has defined roads in the Patetonga Riding which it hopes to metal by means of a loan of £5300 They are:—Main road, Pollen's outlet to northern boundary of the riding; Patetonga landing road, from the Lower Patetonga Road eastward to Waitakaruru; Maukoro Canal-Otane Road, from Evans' store to Morrinsville Road; Mangawhero Road, from top road to the canal line; top road, from the southern boundary of the riding to Woodyard's corner The special area over which it is proposed to levy a special rate to cover interest and sinking fund charges on the proposed loan has been defined.
