COMPETITIONS SOCIETY.
The Auckland Competitions Society has arranged to close its highly-successlu? festival with two special demonstration concerts in the Town Hall concert chamber on the afternoon and evening of »ext Saturday. At the concert given last Saturday evening, the large auditorium of the Town Hall was overtaxed, the seating accommodation proving insufficient for the large audience. Judging by the splendid programmes, which are published elsewhere in this issue, the concerts should he very popular.
