DREAM WORTH £IOO.

A BOOKSELLER'S BARGAIN.

Mr. W. TdKvnley Searle, an antiquarian London bookseller, has made £IOO in consequence of a dream. " Last night," he said recently, " I dreamed that I found at Caledonian Market a first edition of Thomas Hardy's ' Desperate Remedies.' This morning I went to the Market. It was raining, and I bought an umbrella for 6d and walked straight to a spot seen in my dream, where I saw a box of books. " The first book I picked up was a volume of ' Desperate Remedies/ The next two books were the remaining volumes of the work, which I bought for Is. It is worth about £IOO. I call it an extraordinary coincidence, or perhaps it is premonition "
