MAN FOUND DEAD.

THE INQUEST OPENED. An inquest concerning the death of Walter Hill, hotel porter, who was found dead on Tuesday evening, was opened before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, yesterday, and was adjourned after evidence of identification had been taken. Hill, who was a porter at the Waverley Hotel, boarding at St. Paul Street, City, was found dead in his room between 10.30 and 11 o'clock on Tuesday evening. Hill was married and lived apart from his wife.
