VICTORIAN SEAMEN.
DECISIONS AS TO POLICY. JOB CONTROL MAY CEASE. Austrian and N.Z. Cable Association, (llecd. '".5 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Oct. 27. At a stop-work meeting of the Victorian branch of the Seamen's Union it was decided that in future individual members of tho union must not hold up ships on their own account. It was also decided that all disputes must be referred to the management committee of tho union, whose instructions must bo regarded as final. If effect were given to these decisions it would mean the end of job control in the shipping industry.
