ARBITRATION ACT.
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS. NEW SOUTH WALES BILL. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 11.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct, 27. A bill to amend the Arbitration Act was read a first time in the Legislative Assembly to-day. It provides for access to the Arbitration Court by the police. It also seeks to empower the Industrial Commission to regulate and prevent unreasonable increases in the prices of commodities.
