AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE.
Little change was noticeable in conditions on the Auckland sharemarket yesterday. There was not a vigorous demand for Government securities, but the 1927 issue of War Loan sold at £9B the ruling price. In hanks a transaction in Nationals of Australasia was reported at £l7 13s 6d, late holders quoting £l7 15s without response. New Zealands showed no change, with holders at 56s 9d and buyers at 56s 6d. Two sales of Unions of Australia took place at £ls Is, Is 6d below the previous sale figure. In insurances New Zealands were again available at 38s 6d, with buyers at 38s 3d, threepence above Saturday's figure. Holders of South British were likewise unaltered at 555, with inquiry 3d higher at s*ls 3d. In gas Aucklands sold at the current price of 23s 3d, this being the final offer of buyers, with holders steady at 23s 6d. In miscellaneous lines Taranaki Oils were sought at 13s, holders asking 13s 6d. Wilsons Cement were unaltered, holders at 36s 6d being met by buyers at 35s 6d. In mining Kawaraus were active, selling in one case at 6s 6d and in three instances at 6s 7d. Waihis were available at the lower figure of 245, buyers also beiug weaker at 23s 3d. Tho following . sales took place:—New Zealand Government War Loan, 1927, £9B; National Bank of Australasia, £l7 13s 6d; Union Bank of Australia, £ls Is (two sales); Auckland Gas, 23s 3d; Huddart-Parker. 45s 9d; Kawarau, 6s 6d, 6s 7d (three sales).
