YACHTING.
THE ONETANGI REGATTA. ABANDONMENT OF FIXTURE. It was found necessary to abandon the Onetangi regatta on Saturday, because of the small number of entries received. Tho unfavourable weather on Friday no doubt acted as a deterrent to a number of yacht ar.d motor-boat owners, and another factor was that boats which wero to have raced from Cowes Bay wero forced, to return to Auckland on account of bad weather. The excursion to Onetangi was cancelled. However, tho regatta committee provided entertainment for those who attended. SANDERS CUP TRIALS. [:BY TELEGRAM. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. The fifth trial at Lyttelton for tho Sanders Cup was won by Secret, and the sixth by Linnet.
