Auckland branch, Victoria League, £SO to be invested and the income applied once a year as a prize for the best school child's essay on "What Humanity Owes to the British Empire," the competition to be open to every child under 17 attending any school in the Auckland provincial district. Sisters of Mercy, Auckland, £SO. Auckland branch of the Plunket Society, £SO. Trustees of Dr. Barnardo's Homes for Destitute Children, £SO. Victoria League, London, £SO, to be paid to the committee of the Fresh Air Fund for giving children a week in the country. Devonport Rugby Football Club, £25 for a trophy. . North ■ Shore Rowing Club, £25 for a trophy. Salvation Army, Auckland, £SO. Devonport Borough Council, £25, for plapting flowers along King Edward Parade, and £25 to provide seats for the public- on Narrow Neck Beach. Building Fund of All Souls' Chprch, Devonport, £SO. t Takapuna Borough Council, £SO, to provide seats on Takapuna Beach.
