Mrs. West-Watson was Miss Emily Monsarrat, daughter of the Rev. Henry Monsarrat, late Vicar of St. ( Thomas', Kendal. She comes of a family originally Spanish, later settled in Southern France and since the • Edict of Nantes, in Ireland. The new bishop's family consists of two sons and three daughters. _______
