OVERSEAS MAILS.
INCOMING. The Tahiti is due at Wellington from San Francisco next Monday with English and American mail. The Aorangi is due at Auckland from Sydney on Monday with Australian mail. OUTGOING. Outgoing mails for overseas ports close at Auckland as tinder:— Tuesday. Aash-alian States, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, and South Africa, per Main Trunk at 5 p.m. Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, United States of America. Mexico, West Indies, also Fiji, Hawaiian Islands and Jaoan, per R.M.S. Aorangi, via Vancouver, at 2 p.m. Mails due at Jvondon about November 20, LABOUR DAY ARRANGEMENTS. There will be no delivery by postmen on Monday, Labour Day. Instead, a delivery of all correspondence, including registered, will be made over the postmen's counter at the Chief Post 'Office, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. to-morrow. Mails usually despatched on Mondays before 7.15 a.m. will close at 4 a.m., and those after 7.15 a.m. at the latter hour. The Main Trunk mails will close at 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. Late fee letters for Southern offices .may be posted as usual in the letter box at the entrance to the station platform up to 7 p.m. and 7.35 p.m. WM.
