A poll of ratepayers on tho Nether ton roads loan, authorising tho raising of £29,500 for general road construction within the special rating area, was caried by 95 votes to 9. The security for payment of interest and sinking fund .is a rate of in the pound on all'ratable property within the area. The terni of the loan is 36j years. , This is the largest poll of ratepayers yet held.
