MRS. JAMES BEDGGOOD. NEARLY NINETY YEARS OLD. Believed to be the oldest living white person born in New Zealand. Mrs. James Bedggood, of Springbank, Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, is nearly 90 years of age. She is the last, of the first white family to settle in New Zealand. Mrs. Bedggood, it is stated, has a fine collection of Maori curios, and can tell many interesting stories of New Zealand; in the days of its early colonisation.
