FRUIT AND HONEY.
PERSONNEL OF BOARDS. GOVERNMENT APPOINTEES. The appointment of Government representatives on the Now Zealand Fruit Export Control Board and the New Zealand Honey Control Board is announced in the current Gazette, thus completing the personnel of both bodies. Mr. Edward Heathcote Williams, Crown solicitor of Hastings, and Colonel C. Gray, of Nelson, arc the Government appointees to the Fruit Control Board. Mr. Williams has orchard interests in Hawke's Bay and Nelson. Colonel Gray was chairman of the Fruit Export Advisory Committee appointed by the Government in connection with the Government guarantee on exported fruit, and was the principal founder and organiser of the voluntary marketing control system in Nelson. The elected representatives of the producers on the board arc Messrs. H. S. Izard, A. M. Robertson, T. C. Brash, and H. E- Stephens. The Government appointee to the Honey Control Board is Mr. T. E. Clark, the producers' representatives being Messrs. J. Rentoul and R. Gibb.
