THAMES VALLEY POWER.
THE WAIH! INSTALLATION. SWITCH-OVER LAST SATURDAY. [BX TELEGBATH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI. Saturday. The electric lighting system installed in Waihi by the Thames Valley Power Board was switched on at eight o'clock on Saturday evening by the Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister for Public Works. A large gathering was present, including a number of visitors from other districts, among them the Mayor of Paeroa, Mr. W. Marshall, and the chairman of the Power Board, Mr. F. H. Claxton.
