[Bl r TELEGRAPH. —OWN COKaESPONDENT; ] HAMILTON. Wednesday. The Central Electric Power Board met yesterday, the chairman, Mr. T. Hinton, presiding.

The engineer reported that Jhe changt over at Huntly would be complete bj Christmas; and the steam plant closed down. A commencement had been made with the Tamahere 3000-volt extension. The poles erected during the month numbered 158, and 711 chains of wire had been run out. The connections made were as follow: —Lighting, 27; heating, 26; milking' motors. 14; other motors, 5; water heaters, 22; water pumps, 8. The total connections to date were: Lighting, 2026; heating, 306; milking motors, 514; other motors, 67; water heaters, 240; water pumps, 53.
