THE HOUSE FLY.

Sir,—There is every indication thai* house flies are going to be a serious menace this summer, if steps are not taken immediately to destroy them. Reports from all parts of the province go to show that they are in evidence in very large numbers, and it behoves .everyone to make an effort to exterminate them as quickly as possible. Do not leave it to your neighbour, but act on your own accord. A very cheap atd simple remedy, which is also very effective, is to take eight parts of resin and four parts of castor or colza oil, heat together until ' thoroughly dissolved, then add one part of honey. When cool apply to piece of 1 wire suspended from ceiling. Precaution.
