A ROUGH ROAD.

Sir, The formation of Albion Road, Parnell, was started some few weeks ago. The residents hoped that on completion of the work a taxi could come down and comfortably remove a sick patient to iv hospital. An expectant mother had to bo slowly helped along about 400 yards, then across the road, over lumps of metal, to a car standing at the top of tho road. In another instance a mother, after half an hour in a dentist's chair, was led staggering down between hor husband and chauffeur over the cobbles to her house. Tho unfinished job needs the stone-crusher at work to improve conditions and giv« the ratepayers some satisfaction to use tho road. J. AhdeBSON.
