Sir,—l was pleased to read "City Resident's" pertinent letter in Monday's Herald, as bis statement of the position is the fairest and most sensibla I have yet seen in print. I may state, however, that the Point Chevalier residents, as- a whole, are not indifferent to the tramway question. I think they are too sensible to do anything which would further embarrass the City Council in its present unfortunate position, feeling assured that justice will be done to the district when conditions become, normal. Point Chevalier.-
