THE KNOX HOME.
Sir, — I make ail appeal for Ilia gift of some gramophone records which the owners may find slightly worn, or which they are tired of? I have' collected among kind friends sufficient money to purchase a gramophone for the patients' of the Knox Home for Incurables at East Tamaki, who have so little to amuse them in their sad life, and it) now onlv remains to obtain some records ■ to complete the gift for Christmas. Mr. Caddell, the manager of the E. and F. Piano Agency, Queen Street, has kindly promised to receive any parcels of records left there for me. Thanking you in. anticipation. Laura Daw.
