The building was of wood and iron, and other similar onus which closely surrounded it had a narrow escape. The stock is fully covered, but the loss on the building is estimated at £1000 and on the office contents at £300. , The cause of the fire is unknown, but it is believed to have been the fusing of an electric wire. .''•-'....'.■'.
