MEN'S ALLEGED ATTEMPT. TWO ARRESTS MADE. An alleged attempt to convert to their own use a motor-car outside a garage in Little Queen Street led to the arrest on Saturday, about 0.30 p.m., of two young men by Constable Collins, of the wharf police. The car, which is owned by Mr. H. Hadfield, of Brightside Road, Epsom, had been left in the street, pending the opening of the garage, in which it was to remain for the evening. The two men will appear at Che Police Court to-day. A two-seater car was taken from the corner of Darby Street and Elliott Street earlier on Saturday evening. It wa 8 discovered by th« police about 11.30 p.m. in Chapel Square. __
