BUSY WEEK FOR SHIPPING.
CONDITIONS AT AUCKLAND. MANY VESSELS , ARRIVING. Shipping at Auckland will be fairly busy this week, and most of the berths at the wharves will be occupied, The arrivals during the week-end were Canadian Constructor from Halifax, Las Vegas from San Francisco, Kent from Whakatane, Paparoa from Liverpool, Kaitangata from Westport, and Arahura from East Coast ports. To-day the Makura is due from Sydney, and the Ngakuta from Westport. To-morrow the Japanese warships Asama, Yakumo.and Iwate will arrive from Wellington and the Maheno from Sydney, Other arrivals expected at Auckland this week will be the Hertford from London, Wairuna from Newcastle, Wingatui from the south, Waimana from the south, Devon from Australia, and Bona from Cairns. It is fortunate that the Prince's Wharf and approach is so far completed to allow two of the Japanese warships to berth there. If the wharf had not been available, they would probably have had to remain in the stream, as the third Japanese warship, the Iwate, will have to do.
