MAN HURT IN A WELL.

A drum of that was being hauled up slipped cJI 'lie hook and fell on him. Mr. Bed--1 f.-.d's head was severely cut, but he suc- ! „eeded in putting a rope around himself i and was rescued. His injuries, although severe, are not dangerous.
