EDENDALE TERMINUS.

BUSINESS BLOCK COMPLETED.

A block of shops, to be known as " The Carrie Buildings," has just been completed at what will be the terminus for the Edendale tramway service. With a frontage of 85ft. to the main road, these premises make an imposing show. Built of brick and concrete, with special attention paid to fireproof materials, they are a good example of modern shop-building. Tho fronts are of plate-glass, tiles, and oak, and all the interior fittings, are of oak. A verandah runs the whole length of the block. Two shops have already been lot. The architect is Mr. Sinclair O'Connor.
