ROBBERY IN A PALACE.
FUGITIVE VALET ARRESTED.
STOLEN JEWELS RECOVERED
A. and N.Z. ROME. Oct. 1. After a protracted search, the police arrested the valet of Prince Baudini. and recovered the. remainder of the jewels worth £20,000 which were stolen from a palace in Home. First the police searched for the valet in the Riviera, but he escaped. Thence he was traced to a farmhouse- near Turin. The police surrounded the farm at night and found the fugitive asleep. The jewels were in the cupboard with a large sum of money. The Roman police who traced the valet to . the Riviera, earn a ; reward offered for thel recovery of £80,000' worth of jewels.
