The Daily, Telegraph's Sofia correspondent, says a fire in the fodder depot at Vratza was attributed to Communist incendiaries, and Involved the munitions department in a series of shocking explosions lasting several hours. The fire spread under a high wind until hundreds of houses were consumed, rendering thousands homeless. Many were killed or injured by the explosions.
