VACANCY TO BE FILLED. [m TEIXQRkI'H.—OV/H CORRESPONDENT.) DAKGAYILLE. Wednesday. Councillor Dargavillc, owing to pressure of other business, has resigned his seat on the Borough Council.. A large and influential deputation of citizens, headed by the Mayor, waited on Mr. W. J. Robertson to-day, and asked him to contest the vacancy. Mr; Robertson accepted, and has been nominated. The election taken placfl on May 23.
