Smith, of To Kawa, who has been appointed huntsman of Pakttran?a Hunt was presented by his Te Kawa friends with a silver inkstand, while his wife received a gold wristlet watch. Mr. S. G. Broadbent, in making the presentation, referred to the great help both Mr. and Mrs. Smith have been to Te Kawa social and sporting affairs, being ever ready to help in any capacity.
