TALKED TO GIRLS.
SCHOOLBOYS EXPELLED. PROTEST •BY COMRADES. LONDON. Feb. 22. There were remarkable scenes in the streets of Cheltenham, following the summary dismissal of two schoolboys from a training college for the offence of " talking to girls." Hundreds of sympathetic mates followed the expelled boys to the 1 train, shouting and cheering loudly, and voicing their opinion of the masters. The taxi-cab conveying the boys was compelled to travel slowly through the town. It bore a placard inscribed: " Sent down for talking to girls."
